Dr. Matchett and the Healthy Smiles Team will be visiting Grassy Creek on November 10th. They provide the following care on-site; dental check up, dental cleaning, digital x-rays, preventive sealants and fluoride. They accept Medicaid and most private insurance. Free care may be available to qualified students. Registration forms were sent home this week. Once the healthy Smiles dentist has seen your child, a dental healthy report card will be sent home.
Grassy Creek will host a Veteran's Day program on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:30 a.m. to honor those who serve or who have served in the armed forces. If you would like to be a part of this celebration, please contact our school office at 532-3100.
Community Hospital and the Marion County Board of Health are excited to have the opportunity to bring FREE FluMist vaccine to the students of Warren Township. Seasonal FluMist is a gentle mist that is sprayed into the nose to help children reduce their risk for contracting the flu. FluMist will be given to all students who are medically eligible and return a permission form to school by November 3rd.
At this time, exact dates are not available but we can expect the FluMist to be administered during the first part of November. Information will be coming home with your student. It is important that the required forms are returned to school by November 3rd.

We are very proud to announce that Grassy Creek students and staff collected 806 jars of peanut butter for Spread the Love campaign. SUPER! Mr. Ecker’s 4th grade class came in first place in the collection competition by collecting 199 jars, and Mrs. Camacho’s second grade class came in second place by collecting 164 jars. Way to go! This campaign was sponsored by Gleaners Food Bank and Shine.FM The jars of peanut butter will be distributed to Hoosier families in need.
