On Saturday, December 6th, Grassy Creek will host another Breakfast with Santa from 8:30-10:30 a.m. ,which includes a pancake/sausage breakfast for $3.00/person.There will be many more activities such as pictures with Santa for $3.00 that will be sent home the next week, a visit to the Book Fair, a shopping trip to Santa’s Secret Shop, and an opportunity to make holiday crafts. Our Goldenaires will be singing some very festive holiday songs . Please come out and attend this spectacular annual event.
Grassy Creek 4th graders took 1st place in Warren Township's Spell Bowl competition! There was tough competition between several schools, and our students did an amazing job! Thanks to Miss Youngstafel, Miss Devincent, and Mr. Ecker for coaching this team to a huge victory. Congratulations to our team members as well. Our Spell Bowl Champions were:
Grassy Creek’s Book Fair is Coming Soon! Monday, December 1 - Friday, December 6 in the Grassy Creek Media Center. There will be lots of books and other exciting gifts for the whole family at the Winter book fair. Students will preview and fill out wish lists and shop during school hours. The fair will be open during Grandparents’ Day Visits and during our Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 6th.

Students at Grassy Creek honored our veterans on Tuesday with a celebration. The Goldenaires Choir performed and the second graders entertained with a poem. Veterans in attendance received lap blankets. Pictures on the district's Facebook page>>>.
Here we go...again! Grassy Creek has been designated by the Indiana Department of Education as an A school for the second year in a row! We have great students, families, and staff members who work together to help students have a successful education! Thanks to everyone who helps to make this possible! Come take a whimsical trip to Suessville or maybe a magical adventure to Hogwarts! There are many exciting places from your favorite books that await you at Grassy Creek on November 19th. When you arrive at you will receive your own passport and map that will guide you inside 6 wonderful books.
It will be a special night for us to appreciate books and the joy they give us. Parents and kids don’t forget to show us how much you love books by dressing as your favorite book character!
